The DOV, Declaration of Value (Dichiarazione di Valore in Italian) is a document that certifies the value of a qualification obtained in a foreign country. It must be written in Italian and issued by the Italian Diplomatic Represantions abroad (Embassies/Consulates) of the area, namely, the closest office to where the qualification was issued.
Generally every DOV has the following information:
- legal status and type of organization that issued the qualification
- admission requirements needed to access the course of study of the qualification
- legal duration of the course of study and/or total amount of the hours and credits required
- qualification value in the system/Country where it was issued, for both accademical and professional purposes.
